Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Sport Facilities Officer to lead the Facilities Team, shape the sport facilities strategy, and foster partnerships that embed UoM Sport Facilities at the heart of our community.

The role covers overseeing facilities delivery across campus venues, driving initiatives to increase activity, and supporting the Active Manchester offer for students, staff and partners with a strong focus on the student experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Facilities Team and deliver our sport facilities strategy.
• Identify gaps in provision and implement new ideas to meet KPIs.
• Build internal and external partnerships to support Active Manchester.
• Coordinate regional and national training camps at our facilities.
• Support students and staff to be more physically active.
