Job summary

University of Surrey is seeking a Content & Communications Executive to shape the voice of Surrey Sports Park and Team Surrey. You will create engaging content for social media, websites, digital marketing campaigns and on-site promotions, attending events to capture compelling photography and video.

You will work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to deliver creative storytelling, timely updates and community-focused narratives across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Experience in photography and video capture/editing.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Understanding of current social media trends and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Capture photography and video across sport, fitness, events and campus activities.
• Write articles, social posts, newsletters and promotional copy.
• Support delivery of marketing campaigns and communications plans.
• Schedule and publish content across digital channels.
• Monitor social media engagement and audience interaction.
• Maintain brand consistency across Surrey Sports Park and Team Surrey communications.
