Glasgow Life is looking for a Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator (Referral) to join us on a 35-hour Full Time Permanent contract. As a Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator (Referral), you will be part of our in-demand Sport and Wellbeing Team, supporting people to be physically active in Glasgow.

The role

You will support the Physical Activity Team, focusing on developing programmes for people with long-term health conditions. You will report to the Sport and Physical Activity Development Officer and work alongside an established team.

The candidate

Requirements include:

1. Essential: Professional Qualification in exercise referral, science, or a related field.
2. Desirable: Experience supporting people with long-term health conditions into physical activity.
3. Essential: Flexible, person-centered approach.
4. Essential: Ability to evaluate and report on programme outcomes.
5. Desirable: Ability to schedule and manage participants for smooth programme delivery.

Working arrangements

We offer hybrid working, with teams working between the office and home. Your line manager will agree specific days. Our Emirates Arena base has free parking and is accessible by public transport.

Working hours

Mainly Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as required.
