Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Sponsorship Governance Facilitator to join the Sponsorship Team within the R&I Office. You will provide regulatory support and guidance to researchers from grant application through sponsorship and regulatory approval, ensuring studies meet regulatory requirements and Trust sponsor obligations.

You will work with investigators, project managers and external partners to manage studies, monitor progress, and ensure timely regulatory reporting and data

Qualifications

• Clinical research management experience required.
• Strong understanding of NHS research standards and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory support to researchers from grant confirmation through sponsorship and regulatory approval.
• Advise investigators and research managers on sponsorship responsibilities and costings.
• Review study documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and sponsor obligations.
• Coordinate with contracts team on sponsorship contracts and study vendors.
• Oversee study progress, risks, and KPIs to ensure milestones and regulatory reporting are met.
• liaise with external collaborators, funding agencies, and other stakeholders.
