Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive R&D Governance professional to oversee the governance framework for research projects on the Cambridge Biomedical campus. You will support setup, documentation, and approvals for both commercial and non-commercial studies.

Ideal candidates will have a science degree or equivalent R&D experience, and familiarity with NHS research governance, ethics, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of research governance and NHS project setup.
• Understanding of ethical issues in clinical research.
• Ability to use databases to record data.

Responsabilités

• Provide a comprehensive managerial and administrative system for running research projects with governance compliance.
• Review budgets and contracts; ensure risk assessment before commencement.
• Monitor studies to ensure researchers comply with legislation, policies, and guidance.
• Support setup of commercial and non-commercial research and facilitate approvals.
