Job summary

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Research and Innovation Project Facilitator in the Medical Directorate to support the development and delivery of our homegrown R&I portfolio, working with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure governance and high-quality research outcomes.

The role covers developing study protocols, regulatory submissions, and coordinating projects, with opportunities to collaborate with academic institutions, NHS organisations and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health/science or equivalent.
• Experience in NHS research environment and grant applications.
• Strong understanding of research governance and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate homegrown R&I projects.
• Develop protocols, research documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Identify funding opportunities and manage collaborations with internal and external partners.
• Promote R&I within the Trust and engage with stakeholders.
