Sponsor Operations Manager

Basic salary - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid (Office/Home-based)

This is not a sales role — it is heavily administrative and would suit someone who has been in an operations or project management role within a conference organiser, but who also has strong people skills.

We are recruiting a Sponsor Operations Manager to join one of the most successful and fast-growing event businesses in the market. This company has a strong track record of delivering market-leading events and a reputation for excellence. Over the past few years, they have expanded significantly through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, making them one of the most exciting players in the events space.

You’ll be joining a team that combines the agility of a high-growth business with the close-knit, family feel of a much smaller company. They pride themselves on a supportive, collaborative culture, and have created a welcoming, stylish office environment to match — a real hub for creativity, ambition, and success.

This is an opportunity to support major international events by enhancing sponsor journeys, building key relationships, and ensuring that every client gets maximum value from their involvement. Although this isn’t a commercial sales role, being commercially minded and relationship-driven will be key to success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage elements of the sponsorship journey post-contract through to event delivery
  • Ensure sponsors maximise their event participation, including guest invitations and internal pass allocations
  • Support and guide sponsors through the event customer portal
  • Coordinate and deliver a world-class 1-2-1 meeting concierge service
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external sponsors
  • Oversee onsite meeting logistics to ensure a seamless experience
  • Deliver client success services across the wider portfolio of events

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience working for a conference or exhibition organiser
  • Ideally from an Event Project Management or Operations background
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail — a must for ensuring flawless client experiences
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commercially minded approach, even though this is not a direct sales role
  • Proficiency with event management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Arabic skills are a plus but not essential
  • Willingness to travel for event delivery
