Job Description:

Position: Splunk Architect

Location: London, UK (Hybrid work)

Job Type: Contract Inside IR35

Contract duration: Long term 1 year

Interview mode: Virtual, 2 rounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of observability frameworks and infrastructure, ensuring robust monitoring, logging, and tracing with Splunk.
• Oversee automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Provide technical authority, mentorship, and guidance to the engineering team.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows for seamless data integration and analytics.
• Manage containerization and virtualization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with Treasury teams to ensure system reliability and scalability within Wallstreet FX environments.
• Drive incident response and post-mortem analysis to improve system resilience.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a lead DevOps role focusing on observability and automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk and related observability tools.
• Experience with FX in Treasury environments.
• Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Advanced skills in containers and virtualization technologies.
