Job summary

Impact Student Partners is seeking Specialist Study Skills Tutors to support Higher Education students with Specific Learning Difficulties. You will deliver one-to-one sessions on campus and remotely, helping students build study strategies, confidence, and independence using personalised, strengths-based approaches.

Applicants should hold relevant memberships (PATOSS/BDA/ADSHE) and demonstrate excellent communication. The role includes CPD, supervision, and flexible hybrid working in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must hold professional membership with PATOSS, BDA or ADSHE.
• Dyslexia Guild memberships are beneficial.
• Online and face-to-face support acceptable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing workload.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and equal opportunities in education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Specialist Study Skills sessions per DSA guidance.
• Develop tailored support strategies from Needs Assessment Report.
• Build professional relationships that encourage confidence and independence.
• Support study skills: time management, organisation, planning, writing, and referencing.
• Maintain accurate session records and support documentation.
• Escalate safeguarding or wellbeing concerns per procedures.
• Participate in supervision, training and CPD.
