Job summary

Randstad Student Support is recruiting qualified Specialist Study Skills Support Workers to deliver tailored, one-to-one academic support to university and college students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) across Scotland.

This hybrid role blends online delivery with essential face-to-face sessions on local campuses, offering exceptional flexibility around student needs and existing commitments.

Qualifications

• Must hold eligible professional membership with one of the bodies (BDA/ADSHE/Dyslexia Guild/PATOSS).
• Experience supporting individuals with SpLDs in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one academic support to university/college students with SpLDs.
• Develop students' independence by aiding organisation, time management and action planning.
• Guide students in research, writing, referencing, and study strategies.
