Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking a Specialist 1:1 Study Skills Support Worker (SpLD) to empower university students with Specific Learning Disabilities. You will deliver tailored one-to-one guidance, leveraging SpLD knowledge to enhance language and learning within higher education.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree (Level 6) or PG qualification.
• Active membership with a relevant professional body (PATOSS, BDA or ADSHE preferred).
• Strong understanding of SpLDs and professional confidentiality/boundaries.
• Excellent organisation and reliability in supporting students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 guidance to university students.
• Identify strengths and help students utilise them to overcome barriers.
• Develop personalised strategies for organisation, time management, and study skills.
• Guide and support on using relevant assistive technology to aid learning.
