You will deliver communication activities under the guidance of qualified therapists, support pupils using visual systems, AAC and structured language programmes, and record progress for the multidisciplinary team. QTS is not required for this support role.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting children with speech, language or communication needs is welcomed.
• You are patient, observant and confident following agreed therapy programmes.
• You work well with teachers, therapists, families and support colleagues.
• QTS is not required for this support role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver communication activities under the guidance of qualified therapists and teaching staff.
• Support pupils using visual systems, AAC and structured language programmes.
• Record progress and share useful observations with the multidisciplinary team.
