Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join the SLT Assistant team. The role supports the SLT department, working with schools or nurseries to screen children, run language groups, and train staff, while contributing to clinics and admin tasks.

The post offers excellent supervision, ongoing training, mobile working, and a sociable team environment. Interviews will be held on 3 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Screening children's communication skills in schools or nurseries.
• Leading language groups in nurseries and/or clinics across the two boroughs.
• Supporting nursery staff to deliver groups in their settings.
• Delivering online parent workshops.
• Providing admin support for the Early Years SLT team and other SLT teams (data entry, resource prep, ordering, other tasks).
