Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join the SLT Assistant team. The role supports the SLT department, working with schools or nurseries to screen children, run language groups, and train staff, while contributing to clinics and admin tasks.

Speech and Language Therapy Assistant | Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust

We have a full time vacancy in our SLT Assistant team. The post holder will join our existing team of 16 SLT assistants to supportthe work of the SLT department. The role will involve working in local schools and/or nurseries to screen children's communication skills, deliver language groups and train staff in the settings. It will also involve jointly running groups in clinics and supporting clinical and administration tasks for the wider SLT team. There will be an opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of communication development in children.
