Bromley Healthcare offers an exciting 4-year Speech and Language Therapy Apprentice programme, combining 80% work-based learning with 20% academic study to achieve HCPC registration.

Apprentices are paid at Agenda for Change Band 5 Annexe 21 during training, with progression to Band 5 on successful completion. The role includes supervision and rotations across services within Bromley borough.

Qualifications

• Literate and numerate in English.
• Experience working as a Band 3 or 4 SLT Assistant in the NHS.
• Certificates from relevant healthcare training.

Responsibilities

• Attend university and clinical placements as set out in the degree programme.
• Progress through academic modules and clinical placements to meet requirements.
• Organise and manage a clinical caseload under supervision.
• Rotate across clinical services to meet learning outcomes required by the degree.
