Job summary

Bromley Healthcare CIC invites applicants to join a Speech and Language Therapy Apprenticeship, combining work-based learning with a BSc (Hons) degree over four years. You will be employed by Bromley Healthcare while training toward HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist under supervision.

The role involves 80% work-based learning and 20% off-the-job study, with rotations across multiple bases to meet learning outcomes and service demand.

Qualifications

• Literate and numerate in English.
• Experience as a band 3 or 4 SLT Assistant in NHS.
• Knowledge of EMIS or similar IT system.
• Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team and participate in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Attend university and clinical placements as part of the degree programme.
• Complete and pass academic modules and clinical placements to progression requirements.
• Organise and manage a clinical caseload with supervision.
• Develop assessment and intervention plans for patients with varied needs.
• Collaborate with clients, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to plan care.
