Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The role offers a £42,000 annual salary and permanent full-time status within a leading healthcare facility.

You will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessments and interventions for residents with complex communication and swallowing needs, delivering high-quality care in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience managing dysphagia caseloads.
• Experience working with families is essential.
• Evidence of ongoing Professional Development (CPD) in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessments and interventions for residents with acquired disorders related to neurological, respiratory, and other medical conditions.
• Manage a complex caseload including tracheostomies, prolonged disorders of consciousness, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Coordinate and deliver advanced communication and dysphagia interventions using evidence-based approaches.
• Offer expert advice and leadership around communication and swallowing needs within a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and evaluate individualised Speech and Language treatment programs with residents.
