Job summary
Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Community Learning Disability Team for 12 months on a part-time basis (22.5 hours/week). You will deliver specialist SLT assessment, intervention and dysphagia management for adults with learning disabilities, working within a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications
- Degree or Masters qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and current HCPC registration.
- Experience of working with people with learning disabilities in a MDT setting.
- Ability to develop and implement dysphagia management plans and communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist SLT assessment and intervention for adults with learning disabilities and dysphagia.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and improve outcomes.
- Develop and implement communication and dysphagia plans; train carers and staff.
- Contribute to service development, supervision, and CPD opportunities.
