Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team at Queensmead House School in Windsor. The role is based at the school three days a week, supporting children with complex needs through individualised interventions.

You will work within a living and learning environment, alongside education and residential colleagues, delivering therapeutic sessions and contributing to clinical development, supervision, and a wide range

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
• Need experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
• Be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer.
• Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative.
• Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team to deliver therapy within school and home settings.
• Contribute to supervision and a clinical development programme to support staff.
