Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Dysphagia and Early Years Complex Communication Team in the London area. The role involves delivering assessment and therapy for children and families in community, school and clinic settings.

You will work within a dynamic MDT, providing AAC implementation and contributing to multidisciplinary clinics to support complex communication needs from early years through to adolescence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience in pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and interventions for children with complex communication needs, including AAC.
• Deliver care to children and families in community, schools and clinic settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in Joint Assessment Clinic with paediatricians, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
• Support dysphagia management for early years and school-age children in multisector settings.
