Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks a Paediatric Neonatal Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist for a specialist service in the North West of England. You will support neonates and infants with complex feeding and swallowing difficulties, providing high-quality, evidence-based dysphagia assessment and intervention.

This role suits an experienced Band 6 therapist seeking specialist development, or a Band 7 clinician with neonatal feeding expertise, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience in paediatric neonatal dysphagia and infant feeding.
• Postgraduate training in neonatal/infant dysphagia assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage neonatal and paediatric dysphagia.
• Deliver infant feeding and dysphagia assessments in neonatal and paediatric settings.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans with families and teams.
• Provide clinical advice and training to colleagues and carers.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in MDT meetings.
