Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist for a maternity cover role at an Outstanding specialist college in Sutton. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred therapy to 16+ students with learning disabilities, autism and complex communication needs.

As Band 6/7 SLT you will assess, plan and deliver interventions, support AAC and train teaching staff, while developing independence and successful transitions for learners in a supportive education setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration required or eligible.
• Eligible for Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists membership.

Responsibilities

• Assess communication and swallowing/eating needs.
• Manage your own clinical caseload.
• Deliver universal and individual Speech and Language Therapy interventions.
• Support students using AAC and train staff.
