Job summary

Leith Hill School in Dorking is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to deliver statutory SaLT services across the school in partnership with parents, carers, teachers and other statutory agencies. This role will input to the provision map to identify caseload, plan interventions, evaluate progress, and review interventions in line with EHCP objectives.

• Licensed Speech and Language Therapist with eligibility to practice in the UK.
• Experience delivering SaLT within an educational setting.
• Ability to assess and plan interventions aligned with EHCPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate therapy interventions in line with EHCPs.
• Manage and prioritise the therapy caseload.
• Provide verbal and written reports to stakeholders.
• Liaise with families and carers to clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Identify and implement intervention strategies based on evidence.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and school training.
