Job summary

Chiltern in the United Kingdom is seeking an innovative Speech and Language Therapist to work with a team of therapists and learning support assistants to embed therapy into the school day and curriculum.

The role supports assessment and collaboration with education staff to develop skills, using a trauma-informed and CATHS approach to drive school improvement and better outcomes for pupils in a large specialist setting.

Job description

You will work closely with a team of therapists and therapy learning support assistants to embed agreed Speech and Language therapy into the school day and through the curriculum.

At the school we have an integrated therapeutic approach which also incorporates trauma informed and Communication at the Heart of the School (CATHS) approach. Therapy is delivered as continuous provision and you will be instrumental in supporting assessment and working alongside education staff to embed therapy and develop their skills.
