This role is based at Ashbrooke School.
You’ll be joining Ashbrooke School, one of the leading SEN settings in the North East. It is a purpose-built school with specialist classrooms, extensive grounds, sporting facilities, and a new primary provision. Ashbrooke supports young people with ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and SLCN, and was recently rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND. Across all our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of expertise and breadth of provision. Our young people present with complex needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.
As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessments and formulations, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement strategies. You’ll also assess our young people’s mental health and recommend appropriate interventions within personalized care plans. Building rapport is key; doing so will enable you to deliver effective counselling and provide feedback on progress.
