Job Description:
The Role

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will manage a defined caseload, using evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. The role involves delivering comprehensive specialist Speech and Language Therapy services to clients with communication and/or eating/drinking/swallowing difficulties across various settings. The post requires relevant clinical skills, knowledge, and experience across a broad spectrum of diagnoses and etiologies. Responsibilities and location may vary depending on the client group and service demands.

What you'll need to bring
  • Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate expertise in your area of practice
  • Knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards
  • Specialist knowledge of relevant conditions and policies
  • Leadership skills for managing service delivery
  • Continuous Professional Development evidence
  • Excellent team-working, leadership, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid UK/EU/EEA driving license for cross-site work

Please note: A full UK/EU/EEA license is required for driving.

Preferred qualifications

Member of RCSLT, experience with children and young people, ongoing professional development, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Contract details

Permanent, full-time or part-time, various hours. Salary is pro-rata for part-time roles.

Location and Working Pattern

Based in Speech and Language Therapy within North Partnership. Working hours to be confirmed. Applicants may be considered for similar roles in other locations.
