Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND. Across all of our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of our expertise and breadth of provision. Our young people present with a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.
As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people. You’ll also assess our young people’s mental health and recommend appropriate interventions in a personalized care plan. Building rapport is key; by doing this, you’ll be able to deliver effective counselling and feedback on progress.

Here’s what we’ll need from you:
Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
Have proven skills and experience engaging and delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they receive clinically informed living and learning environments.
Be confident, engaging, effective, and able to model, guide, lead, and train.
Be highly organized and proactive.
Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
Be part of a multidisciplinary team, receiving regular supervision and supported in your CPD.
Extensive sector experience and a background in team supervision are vital.
Hold a valid driver’s license, as some travel is involved.
