Reeson Education is seeking a caring Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Ealing, West London. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with speech, language and communication needs, helping them develop confidence and learning skills.

The role is full-time and starts ASAP, offering valuable experience in SEN and speech and language support within a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting children with speech and language needs in a school, nursery, or SEN setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic and proactive with a collaborative approach.

Aufgaben

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver targeted speech and language activities under guidance of teachers and therapists.
• Support pupils in vocabulary, listening, understanding and expressive communication.
• Encourage positive social interaction and build confidence in communication.
• Assist teachers in adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Help create a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and professionals.
• Support pupils with additional needs including SEN.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external professionals to support development.
