This is a permanent, part-time position of 22 hours per week. The shift pattern is from 8:30 to 16:30. (Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.)
The Forensic Mental Health Speech & Language Therapy service aims to deliver high-quality care to patients and their carers. The Forensic Directorate includes medium secure, low secure, and forensic community mental health and learning disabilities teams. Staff may work across any of these areas at any time.
The role of the Forensic Speech & Language Therapists (SLT) includes:
A good knowledge of risk assessment and management, along with an understanding of mental health conditions and forensic environments, is required.
