Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a difference to the lives of children and young people with autism?
Our Autism Advisory Service is a multi-professional service providing advice, support, and intervention to children and young people with autism, their families, and education settings. Working across two teams, including the Multi-disciplinary Assessment (MDA) team, you will gain valuable experience and further develop your career. You will be part of a professional team of experienced teachers, psychologists, and therapists.
About the Role
You will work collaboratively within a multi-agency Advisory team under the direction of the Head of Service to support education settings in meeting the needs of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social Communication Disorder (SCD). Your role will involve delivering high-quality training to professionals and families, and providing programmes of intervention and group support for children at home, in school, or in Early Years settings. You will oversee and support multi-therapy assistants and a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist.
