Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist SaLT services at Universal, Targeted, and Specialist levels.
- Work autonomously to provide assessment, therapy, training, and consultancy.
- Support students, school staff, families, and carers with evidence‑based interventions.
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to professional development and clinical governance.
- Be part of a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Qualifications
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Experience working with young people and adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
- Ability to deliver training and consultancy, manage a caseload autonomously, and provide clinical supervision.
- Knowledge of best practice, assessment tools, and embedding therapy into learning activities.
- Time commitment: 3‑5 days per week; minimum of at least 3 developmental histories per week.
- Fully remote, self‑employed position.
