Job summary

Job description

Speech and Language Therapist - Ealing | SEND School | ASAP Start

A specialist SEND school in Ealing is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their team ASAP, supporting young people with autism and additional communication needs.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will assess pupils' speech, language and communication needs and develop individualised programmes to support their progress. You'll provide both 1:1 and small group therapy, working closely with teaching staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure communication strategies are embedded throughout the school day.

The role will involve supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), including pupils with a range of communication profiles and additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The school is looking for a compassionate and adaptable SALT who is confident working collaboratively with education professionals, families and other specialists. Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism, SEND or complex communication needs would be highly beneficial.

Applicants should hold a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification and be registered with the HCPC.
