An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Homerton Band 5 rotation. The role offers the post holder to develop experience within our Adult Community Rehab Team, Acute inpatient Team and the Graham Stroke Unit based at the Homerton.
The post holder will have the opportunity to develop skills in the management of acute dysphagia across a range of conditions, as well as delivering specialist rehabilitation for progressive neurological disorders, stroke and brain injury.
Rotational Band 5 staff have numerous opportunities for project working, training and working with third sector service providers, supervision of students and assistants.
You will be well supported in your new role with access to clinical supervision from experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapists, as well as opportunities for peer support with other SLTs across different services. You will also be part of a wider SLT team at Homerton Hospital and be able to join in shared CPD, access videofluroscopy clinics and the development of study days for multidisciplinary colleagues. All services strongly support continuing professional development.
