A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist for a fixed-term role of 12 months covering maternity leave. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm and is fixed term for 12 months.

This is a rare opportunity to cover a maternity leave in the SLT department at Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow.

The small team cover a wide range of eating/drinking/swallowing and communication difficulties seen within an acute setting.

Candidates with experience of and competencies within Paediatric Dysphagia are invited to apply.

The acute based Speech and Language Therapy service are a small team of therapists with embedded clinical supervision networks and ongoing on site CPD opportunities. Post covers age range from neonatal up to 18 years.
