Divisional Lead - Key Health Recruitment

Are you passionate about supporting children to communicate and thrive?

We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse communication needs. In this role, you will work closely with students who experience Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN), Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, and medical conditions, providing tailored therapy to help them reach their full potential.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide Specialist Support: Deliver individualised therapy plans to support children with SLCN, helping them develop their speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Create Empowering Environments: Develop safe, supportive, and engaging therapy sessions where children feel confident and encouraged to express themselves.
  • Collaborate with Families and Staff: Work alongside teachers, teaching assistants, and families to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
  • Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Regularly assess progress and adapt therapy plans to meet the evolving needs of each student.
  • Empower Independence: Help students build confidence in their communication abilities, fostering greater independence both in school and in life.

What You Bring:

  • Relevant Qualification: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • HCPC Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a clinical or educational setting, ideally with children or young people with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Knowledge of Therapy Approaches: Familiarity with a variety of evidence-based approaches to support language development, including those tailored to students with additional learning needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Safeguarding Awareness: A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Why Join?

We believe in transforming the lives of children and young people facing communication and learning challenges. We are committed to providing personalised therapy that empowers children to find their voice and achieve their full potential. You will be part of a passionate and supportive team, working together to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

This is more than just a therapy role - it's a chance to be part of a movement that changes lives, fosters independence, and ensures that every child is heard.
