NHS Scotland seeks a Speech & Language Therapist for its Children's service in Angus. The position involves supporting children with communication delays through training and coaching nursery practitioners. Band 7 role includes additional leadership responsibilities, with competitive remuneration based on NHS pay scales.

Speech & Language Therapist
Band 7 / Band 6
Internal Secondment or Fixed Term for 23 months
You will work within the Children’s Speech and Language Therapy service to support children with delayed communication development. Based in Angus, you must be willing to travel between sites. Your work will involve training and coaching Early Years Practitioners in nurseries to independently deliver evidence-based interventions for children under 5.
You should have knowledge and skills in working with young children and an understanding of communication development, as well as adult learning and coaching.
The Band 7 role additionally involves service organization, leadership, and planning with educational staff. Please review the separate job descriptions and person specifications for the differences between the posts.
You must be registered with the HCPC.
