A leading UK independent provider of community health services seeks a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist for a part-time role based in Bath. You will join a multi-disciplinary team helping adults overcome communication and swallowing difficulties while contributing to improving service standards. This role is fixed-term until April 2026 with opportunities for home working and professional development.
As a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team of colleagues who are skilled, dedicated, passionate and dynamic, who excel at providing the highest quality of services to service users, while continually developing the service and improving standards. This is a part-time opportunity working 22.5 hours per week between Monday - Friday with the ability to negotiate which days work best for you. You will also have the opportunity to work flexibly from home on agreed days.
Your base will be Sulis Ward at St Martin's Hospital in Bathwhere we deliver Speech and Language Therapy Services to all adults over 18 years of age with a communication or swallowing difficulty.
This is a fixed term post until April 2026 with the possibility of extension.
Being based inthe beautiful city of Bath, working at St Martin’s Hospital means you will bea stones throw from the Royal Crescent, Roman Baths and beautiful countryside.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
You will be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration and experience working in adults services; exposure to community experience would also be highly regarded.
You will have experience of working with service users who have dysphagia, and with conditions such as stroke and dementia.
