A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specification Sales Director to drive market share within a building products manufacturer group.

Job Description

The role will focus on leveraging existing brands and product offerings to develop a comprehensive portfolio for architects, specifiers, and main contractors. The goal is to secure specifications from project design through completion, establishing the company as the preferred supplier and brand for specialist projects in the built environment. The ideal candidate will have proven sales and leadership capabilities in a high-quality environment, with experience leading transformational change in a specification-driven sales setting. Customer focus, especially with specifiers and influencers, is crucial to secure specifications across the value chain. The role also involves managing effective cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders to implement targeted sales strategies and leading a specialist specification team across the UK.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience with a strategic, specification-led sales approach in the built environment.
  • Understanding of the RIBA stage gate process and delivering effective CPD seminars through the team.
