Job summary

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practise.
• MBBS or equivalent.
• FRCS desirable.
• At least 4 years postgraduate training with 2 in General Surgery.
• NHS experience essential.
• JAG accreditation in endoscopy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive clinical service within Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
• Participate in teaching, training and supervision of medical students and junior doctors.
• Cover colleagues during annual leave and absences as required.
• Engage in clinical audit, governance and CPD; attend audit and governance meetings.
