Job summary

Strive Living Society is seeking caring individuals for a Specialized Child and Youth Support Worker role in our Vancouver residence. The position is part-time with a temporary contract running from Start Date: 10/8/2026 to End Date: 01/08/2027, or extension possible.

Pay rate is $29.22 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year in social services, a Class 5 BC Driver's License, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social services or related field.
• Class 5 BC Driver's License with clean record.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• MandT training available in-house.
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental delays and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in residential settings for individuals with developmental needs.
• Assist with daily living, documentation, and activity planning.
• Support behaviour management and community integration.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
