About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and autonomous motorsports development.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility with work hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and operations of autonomous race cars and electric vehicles.
• Mechanical Excellence: Perform detailed mechanical maintenance, inspection, and reassembly to ensure safety and performance.

Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during races, including pit stops and setup adjustments.

Logistics: Coordinate vehicle transport across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.

Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop for vehicle prep and repairs.

Safety: Follow safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and tuning.
• Electronics: Basic understanding of electronic systems like steer-by-wire and MoTeC.
• Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
• Education: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
• Adaptability: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation.
• Teamwork: Good communication skills and collaborative attitude.
• Driver's License: Valid license required.
