Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Specialist Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wythenshawe. The role may involve home visits or sessions in libraries or community venues outside mainstream education environments.

The ideal candidate will adapt lessons to individual needs and build a positive, supportive relationship with the learner who may have experienced barriers to education, conducting baseline assessments and delivering tailored tuition.

Qualifications

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years

Specialist Tutor - Wythenshawe

Location: Wythenshawe Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a dedicated Specialist Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wythenshawe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor or teacher who is confident adapting lessons to suit individual needs and can build a positive, supportive relationship with a learner who may have experienced barriers to education. Often the successful candidate would be required to conduct lessons in the young persons home, in local council libraries, youth centres or other locations outside of the mainstream learning environment.
