Cast UK are seeking an experienced Transport Planner with exposure to Hiab and/or Flatbed haulage to oversee our client's fleet operations, ensuring the smooth and cost-effective movement of goods and services. If you have operated in a fast-paced environment within construction, rail, manufacturing, engineering or event sectors and have a passion for logistics, building relationships and negotiating, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage fleet operations to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
• Monitor and allocate vehicles, routes, and drivers for maximum efficiency.
• Supervise and support drivers, addressing issues and maintaining high morale.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Analyse data to improve fleet performance and reduce operational costs.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and third-party providers.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in fleet planning, logistics, or a similar role - experience of Hiab and or Flatbed is essential
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• International planning would be advantageous in assisting the company grow this new division
