The Novel and Compound facility Glass part of the Zepler Cleanrooms at the University of Southampton is creating the next generation of advanced materials for optical, photonic, and electronic applications.
You will be part of the Sustainable Electronic Technologies group within the Electronics and Computer Science department, managing the Novel and Compound facilities. Our team specializes in developing chalcogenide and layered materials, from two-dimensional structures to bulk glasses, using bespoke equipment developed in-house. We foster a friendly, collaborative, and supportive environment, focusing on cutting-edge research and the development of our team members.
The position offers a 35-hour workweek from 9 AM to 5 PM, with full training provided.
