Blackhorse Primary School is seeking a highly experienced Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive team. You will support pupils with a range of needs, work under the SENCO and collaborate with class teachers to deliver adapted activities.

You will engage with an inclusion team, lead small groups or individuals, and help pupils develop life skills and emotional regulation in a supportive, creative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
• Strong communication with children, parents and staff.
• Ability to model and support inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and engagement through adapted activities and interventions.
• Work under SENCO direction to support class teachers.
• Lead and adapt learning for groups or individuals as needed.
• Collaborate within the inclusion team to coordinate interventions and life-skill development.
