Job summary

Academics Ltd in Stroud is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learners in a school SEN setting. You will provide 1:1, small group and classroom assistance, helping learners with learning, development and engagement.

This role focuses on creating a calm, inclusive environment and building positive relationships to enable every learner to thrive. The position is term-time only, Monday to Friday 8:30am–3:30pm, with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• An Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
• Experience working with children or young people is beneficial, but not essential.
• Salary will be determined by qualifications and relevant experience in a school SEN setting.

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting learners to join a school setting in Stroud. About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teaching and support staff to provide tailored classroom, group and 1:1 support to learners who may require additional academic, emotional or behavioural support. You will play an important role in creating a safe and engaging environment where every learner has the opportunity to thrive.
