Job summary

Monarch Education in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in specialist education settings. You will work across primary, secondary and SEND settings, with flexible opportunities including daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent roles.

A patient, resilient and adaptable approach is essential. You will join a supportive school team and have access to free CPD via Affinity Academy and dedicated consultant support throughout

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to work with diverse SEND needs including ASD/ADHD/SEMH.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities and assist lead teachers.
• Assist with small-group and one-to-one interventions.
• Support pupil wellbeing and behaviour management in class.
