Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Specialist Support Worker to oversee one of our specialist services in Gloucester/Twigworth, supporting two males with autism and learning disabilities. The role requires a driver with a full UK manual licence and a calm, person‑centred approach.

You will follow care plans, manage risk, support daily activities and personal care where needed, and help the individuals develop independence.

Qualifications

• Must be a confident driver with a full UK manual driving licence.
• Experience in supporting adults with complex needs is preferred.
• Commitment to person-centred, dignified care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment for the individuals.
• Follow support plans and risk assessments, prioritising routines and wellbeing.
• Provide daily activities support, personal care where required, and promote independence.
• Ensure clear documentation and effective communication within the team.
