The Specialist Support for Autism in the London Borough of Bexley is seeking an empathetic professional to support Autistic Young People in mainstream secondary schools. The role involves working with groups and individuals to identify strategies that promote progress and inclusion, and to model effective practice for school staff.

This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid working (including remote day) and a salary in the £27,983–£29,232 range.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Autistic young people is desirable.
  • Ability to work with groups and individuals in school settings.
  • Ability to model best practices for staff and share strategies.

  • Provide advice and support for Autistic Young People in mainstream secondary schools.
  • Work with groups and individual students to identify progress strategies.
  • Identify and implement strategies to promote progress and inclusion of Autistic YP.
