Job summary

London Borough of Bexley is seeking a Specialist Support to work with Autistic Young People in mainstream secondary schools. You will deliver specialist guidance, work with groups and individuals, and model inclusive practices for school staff to promote effective inclusion.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience with Autistic Young People; an LSA/TA certificate is desirable. DBS clearance is required and interviews are scheduled soon.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Autistic Young People.
  • LSA/TA certificate or equivalent desirable.
  • Refer to the Job Description for full criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support for Autistic Young People in mainstream secondary schools.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enable progress and promote inclusion.
  • Support school staff by modelling activities and sharing best practice.
